About AutoShorts
An AI video clipper for creators who publish more than they have time to edit.
What we build
AutoShorts turns long-form video — podcasts, interviews, webinars, courses — into short vertical clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. You give it a file or a YouTube link; it transcribes the audio with word-level timestamps, uses AI to find the moments worth clipping, reframes each clip to 9:16 while following whoever is on screen, burns in animated captions, and hands back files you can post.
Alongside the clipper we run a transcript extractor and a set of tools for captioning and repurposing. The product is available in nine languages.

Software engineer with over 12 years of professional experience in the San Francisco Bay Area, working across software, content creation and social media growth. AutoShorts came out of the same problem it now solves: long recordings sitting unpublished because cutting them down took longer than making them.
How we use AI — and where we say so
AI does the heavy lifting inside the product: transcription, moment detection, reframing and caption timing are all automated. We also use AI to draft the articles on our blog, which are generated and published without a human editing each one first.
We would rather say that plainly than let a byline imply otherwise. Our editorial policy sets out exactly how blog content is produced and how to flag something that is wrong.
