Which moments become posts
AutoShorts transcribes the video word by word and scores the transcript for complete thoughts, hooks and payoffs. It reads the words, not the picture — a moment is chosen because it stands on its own, not because something moved on screen.

How each clip is framed
A conference recording centre-cropped to vertical loses the person talking. AutoShorts crops around a detected face instead, and moves the frame the way a camera operator would.
The height comes from your file, so a 1080p recording stays 1080p. Nothing is upscaled to hit a round number.
The crop follows the face it locks onto and pans like a heavy tripod — it resists jumping, so the clip does not twitch.
Shot changes are detected per clip. A shot with no clear subject falls back to a centred layout on a blurred background rather than guessing.
The caption comes with it
Every clip ships with a caption and hashtags drawn from that moment's own transcript — not a template, and not the same line rewritten. Copy it, edit it, post it.
